I’m not gonna bog you down with anything that’s frivolous, as far as my opinions on this trailer are concerned. I just beseech you to watch this final trailer for Dawn of the Planet of the Apes starring Andy Serkis, Toby Kebbell, Keri Russell and Gary Oldman and directed by Matt Reeves (Let Me In).  It is absolutely gorgeous.

A growing nation of genetically evolved apes led by Caesar is threatened by a band of human survivors of the devastating virus unleashed a decade earlier. They reach a fragile peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earth’s dominant species.

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes opens July 11th.
